    By visiting the official website of UIDAI you can order the allotment of your new aadhaar card by paying a minimal amount of fees. Undoubtedly, this service is serving as a relief for people out there who have misplaced their aadhar due to any reason.

    Earlier, there was no provision for reprinting your lost adhar card. Then, the only solution for a misplaced aadhar card was downloading the E Aadhar card. Now UIDAI is solving this issue in a smart way. There is an option available for getting your Aadhaar back by applying for aadhar reprint.

    For this task, you have to pay the fees of Rs.50. In case you lost your aadhar. you can take the option of visiting the UIDAI website. Once you apply for the aadhaar reprint, you will receive on your postal address. The delivery of your new card would take time up to 5-8 days.

    How to submit your request for reprint Aadhar Card

    Submitting your request for aadhar reprint is easy. You can do it by self-using aadhar number or (VID).

    For applying for the reprinted aadhaar it is not mandatory to have a registered mobile number.

    UIDAI sends a one-time password OTP on your registered mobile number.

    If your mobile number isn’t registered you will be receiving OTP on an alternative or unregistered number. When OTP will arrive on an unregistered number. but you will not be able to see further details regarding your aadhaar reprinted copy.

    Steps for receiving reprinted Aadhaar card

    You can follow the below steps for receiving a copy of your aadhar. We are sure that these steps will help you a lot in performing the procedure of reprinted requests.

    • Reach out to the official website of UIDAI
    • Look at the Get Aadhaar, choose 'Order Aadhaar Reprint'.

    • A new tab will arrive on a computer screen. You will be asked to enter your Aadhar number or 16-digit VID number and respective captcha code. 
    • If the mobile number is not registered then you will have an option for an unregistered mobile number select that box.
    • Now click on the option of sending OTP.

    • Right after that, you will get an OTP on your mobile number. the OTP will remain valid for the next 10 minutes.
    • Enter your OTP in the mentioned box.
    • After entering your OTP click on agree with all terms and conditions and submit it.
    • Once the OTP is entered, you will get access to verify your Aadhaar details. You will be able to verify your aadhaar card details only if you are having a registered mobile number with aadhar database.
    • Cross-check if the Aadhaar details are true. If there is any mistake in your details of aadhaar or any term is incorrect then you have to go to the nearest the Aadhar Kendra. For the proper correction.
    • Once the Adhar details are checked, mark your click on the 'Make Payment' option. You will be redirected to the payment window.

    • You can pick any payment options, as per your choice. Rs 50 will be the fees for receiving the reprinted Aadhar card. Place the payment details and click on  'Pay Now'.
    • Once the payment is done, an acknowledgment will be displayed on your screen. Take an action for downloading your acknowledgment slip. A message will be sent on registered mobile number with the service request number (SRN).

    Steps to follow if your mobile number is not registered

    • Click on the tab which is having not having a registered mobile number.
    • After clicking on the separate tab you will have to enter an alternative number.
    • after you will get a one-time password OTP on that number.
    • The major drawback of not having a registered number is that you will not be able to review the details of your aadhaar.
